My experience was amazing, and I would absolutely go back to the AVA Amphitheater again and again. Fortunately I had short people in front of me, so I could see the entire stage! Whether or not you personally will have good view will depend both on your height and on luck, but that's always part of the fun of going to a concert. The seats were set up on a slope, but it is not enough of a slope that someone my height would be able to see over a 6 foot tall man in the next row. I am pretty short (just over 5 feet), so I often struggle with being able to see over the person in front of me. That being said, I did pay for a seat rather than a ticket for the lawn. Whether I buy a seat or have a general admission ticket, I would never expect to actually be sitting once the main act takes the stage.

But again that is pretty standard when you go to a concert. I read mixed reviews on seating- Many people who bought lawn tickets complained that they had to stand the entire time to see anything. I would think that anybody who complains about the price of concessions must have never attended any other concert before. Yes, it pained me to spend 4 dollars on a bottle of water, BUT this is no more than I have ever had to pay at any other concert venue. I read many reviews complaining about the prices of food and drinks. However, I found that the security line only took about 10 minutes to pass through, and there were not separate lines for men and women. I had also read that the lines were ridiculous, so I was expecting to wait at least a half hour or more to get inside. I was also close to the exit, so it was super easy to get out and hit the road after the concert was over.

Of course, I parked far away from the amphitheater itself, so I had a bit of a walk, but I was expecting it to be a total traffic jam which was not the case. But I was blown away by how my experience did not align with any of the negative comments I had seen previously.įirst, I had read that parking could be a challenge, but I pulled right into the resort parking lot and found plenty of open spaces. Before going, I read many reviews of the venue online so I could get an idea of what to expect, and I was preparing myself for the worst. I went to the AVA Amphitheater last weekend to see Alice Cooper, and my experience was absolutely incredible.
